  if 'no', they're showing that they will pick and choose which org directives they will follow.

  In other words, basically anything the GB instruct, I wouldn't put it past them.

  A question about fading....

  i understand that many on this forum are undertaking a slow fade, over months, years even.. can i ask what is the benefit of that instead of a fast fade?.

  as i understand it, the elders only have to deal judicially with people who are still active witnesses, known in the community as witnesses, having contact and influence with witnesses etc.

  so surely the sooner you stop attending meetings the better.

  Fading is like an art form. Each situation is different. Fading is dependant on various factors like family, how involved is someone, things like these.

  Yes, it can take years, perhaps even decades to ''fade'' out, for the sake of keeping loved ones.

  True. We know the Borg isn't being fully transparent with where the money goes. A good example is that of the Candace Conti case. There's evidence right there the Borg isn't really being forthright with money.

  A vast majority of the rank and file has even no clue about the Candace Conti case.

  samuel herd made a statement a few weeks ago about halting construction work, laying off bethel workers and reducing printing output: severe cutbacks all round.

  he said, like the head of a household, the gb has to make sure the organisation is living within its means.

  but he added a very careful phrase, something like: "be assured brothers these measures have not been taken as a result of any lack of financial support on your part.

  I was thinking a few months back when the U.S. government OK'd same sex marriages. I can't remember where I read it, but it went to something to the tune of ''Governments won't punish churches who condone same sex marriages''.

  Very obviously the Borg HATES same sex unions. Interesting. You wonder what kind of ''punishment'' the Government could administer on religious organizations that DO NOT condone same sex marriages!! Makes a person wonder??????

  faithful and always so very discrete in many things but when it comes to the lord's money not so good.. i think as it begins to register in their minds as to what a terrible job they have done as ceos of a large corporation leading it into this condition that thoughts of suicide come from.

  not to mention the shame at being a public spetical to the world by the rc.

  all these things and more are creeping through their denial as they are forced to face reality.

  It would be more than ironic. More than ironic should all of these guys be exposed and face jail time, or even suicide. After many people in the Borg have committed suicide because of practises. Moreover JW's who have been prisoned for refusal of military involvement, alternative military involvement or countless premature deaths because of the blood ban.

  Is it true? Heard a rumor WT postphones Disfellowshipping until further notice!!??

  i am not sure if it's true but i heard from a good source that wt has given instructions to elders to postponed disfellowshipping members from wrong doing/gross sin until further instructions given by headquarters.

  i heard some jws were just reproved either privately or publically.

  has anyone else heard anything like this recently?

  What I'm thinking is this could be something to do with the ''Sheppard the Flock'' book. If I can recall, a few months ago the Swedish government asked the Borg to hand over that ''secret'' elder's book to the Swedish government. Perhaps lawyers there went through the book and found erroneous practises found. I remember reading on here and elsewhere that the ''Sheppard the Flock'' book violates freedoms that humans enjoy. Maybe disfellowshipping and shunning could be something lawyers could pin on the Borg as violating human rights.

  I'm thinking that the RC in Australia a few months ago must have did a real number on the GB. Perhaps the Borg is in fear of losing it's ''tax exempt'' status or preparing for many more ''Candace Conti'' like lawsuits. Interesting times.
